It ain't over yet!
"Andy" can be better, he had a small case of "Happy Feet!"
The REFing wasn't bad...
I'd dress the big fellas next game...Carks, Klinker, Kanopka even...
This is a learning experience for "Karl"...
The kids will be better next game...
Good third...

ReplyDeleteTook them two periods to get their legs under them. Glad they scored two in the third. No "Tim Thomas" syndrome with King Henrik now.
Agreed about dressing the bigger guy. Not sure about Knop though.
Bingo Boys will get over the "big show' nerves. Game 2 will be different.

ReplyDeleteNot over joyed with the performance but not totally depressed.
Agreed. A mix of nerves and inexperience on the biggest stage they've ever played on. I doubt you can ever be fully prepared for the extra intensity and pressure, if you've never experienced it.
ReplyDeleteThis ain't the A anymore Totto. The Calder cup is a blip on the map compared to Lord Stanley's trophy.
Nice to see the vets step up in the third, followed by a rookie goal by "Bondra" (according to https://twitter.com/#!/hockeynight)
I say dress Carks, but we already have a couple dumb penalties without Kanopka...
True!
ReplyDeleteGentlemen:
ReplyDeleteIf they want to target Karlsson and Spezza, we should make sure to finish our checks on Callahan, Gaborik, and Del Zotto.
It is the Playoffs after all!

Play smart at home, play smarter on the road we got 'em right where we want 'em!
