"One of their best and brightest!"

Dan O'Rourke, 6'3" 200lbs. tough guy REF. One of the NHL's Best and Brightest. Calgary, Western Bronko Buster thinks "Karl" is a diver and that he alone knows what to call and what not to call and if it favours the Western Team or a big market team like Boston or Tranna (all of the time, every game) so be it!

This guy's a cut...he's a cut as Ref...he was a cut in the East Coast League as a player...he's a cut in life, who would base himself in Atlanta if he was a NHL Ref unless he was running away from something...how about his ability to Referee!

Note: Steve Lloyd is offically a "Company Man"...go home to Carleton Place with all the other Leaf fans! (We got beat by "TWO" Power Play Goals! When we had none.)

Have to wonder how many more times this joker will officiate an Ottawa Senator game? All to be said here ...

You have to wonder how much tinkering BM is going to do. As far as I'm concerned, this team has 3 holes it needs to fill to go far in the playoffs:

    (1) Someone to play wing with Jason and Milan. I like "Cyborg", or the "Anacondra", but they are not first line players. They are 3rd line, role players. The Butler had his shot. He can't do it - good AHL player, marginal NHL player.
    (2) Another mean stay at home defenceman who can clear the front of the net, and skate (i.e. not Andy Sutton). Like Cowan, but with more experience.
    (3) A decent back-up goalie. Andy is tired. The 100 ft. "brain fart" last night proved it. Is Lehner ready? His stats in the A don't seem to indicate this.

Is it worth going for it now, and mortgaging the future, or let the chips fall where they may?

We're sellers. I just hate that the League and their REFs are dictating to Bryan to let Tranna in and to improve your team to "unbeatable"...Eugene could have used the Playoff gates!

  3. Apparently O'Rourke was a ref in the Finals last year... Does anyone know if he was responsible for the officiating travesty in Boston, when the Canuks were so flagrantly pulverized without mercy and without recourse?

Nik, what's your take on Kerry Frazer's defense of Danny boy's crap show the other night?

Kerry Frazer shoulda kept his helmet on...I think his head is scrambled.

The League, the Refs, the RETIRED and the Leafs think the bias is funny, like some form of CIVIC prejudice. They just smile at each other, unspoken...
