Note: David is close enough to stay in Bingo, this is good, as it did not look like that was the case early on @ camp...
Note 2: Da Costa will be on a short leash, so let's hope he does something in the "A".
Note 3: Coach Paul has (NOT) realized that Filatov and Jason are the same guy. (Puck distributors!)
Note 4: to the Special Team's Coach...Jason doesn't have the energy or the sacroiliac to play on the kill team, no matter what he tells you...he never killed anything in his life...we need him on the offence too badly...

ReplyDeleteThat's what I said a long time ago before I didn't know he was a winger...I guess it was seeing him as a Russian kid, he was so dynamic/center like...

ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would change to your line up is putting Butler on the first line. I agree with your point #3, therefore Butler (being a better finisher than Greening) should be the recipient of the distribution - Filatov made Neil look like a 50 goal scorer in pre-season. If Butler is afflicted with the sophomore jinx, than Greening can return as he and Jason showed some chemistry late last season.
Do we ever have a lot of 3rd/4th line types ....

ReplyDeleteAs near as I can see Butts must have told off one the coaches or his conditioning scores were way low because he never got a chance. Maybe Jason said something?
I was wondering why Mike Hoffman was getting the extra look...at least he looks like he has some interest in going to the net...but alas he's not ready.
